The World Port Index lists all the major shipping ports in the world, giving all the information a ship captain might need to prepare for a visit. Much of the data will not be of interest to all mariners, but the basics would be useful for any sailor including lat-lon, various facilities, tidal data, customs info, etc. View full list of data included.
Also included are convenient maps of all waters of the world showing how the ports are organized in the book. This is valuable for seeing where places are relative to each other, but is it is not needed for finding a port since we have built in a full text search capability to the entire book.
To use our custom search engine, just type the port name, and if you do not know how to spell it we created a new alphabetic index to help look it up.
