Bowditch Plus! contains 3 components in the navigation data section: the table data themselves, the explanation of the tables (see sample table and explanation) and a set of numerical computations for each of the tables.

These computations were developed from the tables at the back of The American Practical Navigator and from other selected publications. The computations requires a JavaScript compatible browser, which covers most browsers in use these days. The following are adaptations of the original NIMA work. Bowditch Plus! includes all of the computers, but only a few are active below.
